Purchased a Phillips Digital Audio Recorder(DVT6010) 1/22/2018.

Lasted 66 days, would not power on, built in non replacable battery.

The device does not power up. It has an internal LIIon battery which charges every time I plug it into my laptop to copy files to & from it and play music in my car USB connection.

If it had replaceable batteries, I would say the batteries might be dead, but this does not have a replaceable battery/s.

The Sales slip read "no exchange after 30 days" This is not an exchange, but a warranty issue. Phillips WEB site quotes 90 days!

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect Microcenter to honor the factory wrranty since it was a short period of time.

There is no issue with the attached receipt.

Product or Service Mentioned: Philips Dvt6010 Voice Recorder.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $130.

Preferred solution: Repair or replace defective item..

I liked: Closeness to home.

I didn't like: Warrant and return policy.

What part of 'manufacturer warranty' don't you understand?

The manufacturer then should take responsibility.
